Has anyone heard of or used Miniaturelanka painting service? their web page looked good and initial contact was fabulous. however, once I Shipped my MINI's the contact has stopped and there has been no response to repeated inquiries as to whether they have arrived.
they were shipped on 8/16 and according to the USPS they should have been delivered 10 days later.

I have not used them but have used Fernando many times, and sometimes the shipments get held up for weird and longer periods of time, so they may reasonably not have been received yet. That does not explain the failure to return your emails, however.

I have dealt with PhilGreg and Fernando, both in Sri Lanka, and it's not unusual for it to take a month before they receive the figures when using USPS…I wouldn't worry for at least another week or two.

On the other hand, I'd be concerned if they haven't responded to my "repeated inquiries." PhilGreg and Fernando both are pretty good about responding to emails.

GC – did you track the package? I always pay for postage to Fernando online and just add my email address to the box on the form and get updates every time it gets touched.

On average it should take a month. If customs grabs it add a week or two to that.

DR X. the local post office only put a customs tracking on it, my mistake for not asking for more, but the number is only traceable if I was in Canada.
I did finally receive a mail from the company stating that there was several Sri Lankan Holidays in the past month which could have delayed shipment also.
I guess I will be a little more patient
