I dusted off my old copy of Space hulk 1st ed. I have all of the components minus the figures that I believe were given to a friend years ago. I intend to replace the marines probably with EM4 plastic miniatures but I'm a bit stomped when it comes to the Genestealers. Ideally I would like something in 25/28mm scale and in plastic. Otherwise I would also look at 15mm scale. So far I'm only aware of the Khurasan 'not-Aliens' 15mm figures. Any suggestions? |

Those Kryomek aliens would be perfect! Thank you. I said 'plastic' because I wanted to keep the costs down but those Kryomek models are very cheap. |

Even though they are not plastic, I am very fond of the Assault Araktons from Void 1. link |

I have some of those Assault Araktons lying around. I have a whole boxed set and a blister I think. |

ERM's aliens are also quite cheap at a fiver for four and would work well. Might mix well with the Kryomek figures. EM4 make "0467 Feeder" which is.. erm.. a very /close/ replacement.

It looks like everything from the Ebbles/Genet sites is now free (with tip jar), including Guncrawl (his space hulk-ish game), which includes paper Alien/Genestealer equivalents; and there's at least two other sets of different alien bugs in the archive section. genetmodels.com/fun-stuff/# There's also some spaceship set dressing (cryotubes, bunks, tables . . . etc) that you could fill your hulk with. |

All good suggestions, guys. Personally, though I own both the ERM and kryomek aliens, and love them, I would strongly suggest going the etotheipi route, and making vast numbers of bizzare critters from cheap plastic creatures and sprues: that way, you will have as much fun making 'em as playing with 'em! |
