Thank you 28mm Fanatik!!!!

Oddball10 Sep 2014 11:19 a.m. PST

Ready for Stalingrad. Many of these boys were trapped in the pocket.

Frederick Supporting Member of TMP10 Sep 2014 12:44 p.m. PST

An undergamed army, in my view – there were lots of Romanians on the Eastern Front

15mm and 28mm Fanatik10 Sep 2014 1:52 p.m. PST

So are the Hungarians and maybe Bulgarians.

GOTHIC LINE MINIATURES10 Sep 2014 3:22 p.m. PST

Exactly, they and the Italians took the 1st wave, the Romanians were ingenious taking the machine guns from their airplanes, the Italians also fought well and made one of the last WW2 cavalry charges, might be making a Hungarian range too,the Bulgarians saw action mostly in the Balkans in Yugoslavia,Greece etc.

Disco Joe10 Sep 2014 3:30 p.m. PST

How many figures will be in this range and will there be support weapons for them?

spontoon10 Sep 2014 5:06 p.m. PST

There are Romanians available from Outpost Wargaming, too!

Jo Jo the Idiot Circus Boy11 Sep 2014 4:50 a.m. PST

Very pretty.
Make sure you anounce when these things are actually available!

I was thinking about building a Slovak platoon for my Chain of Command games, but I may very well build a unit of these to get my "Axis Minor States" fix instead.

Thanks! So far there are 10 assorted Rifleman 2 Smg Soldiers a mortar team an Lmg team a Hmg team a Sniper team and command figures.
There are vehicles available from many producers, the range might grow beyond these numbers of course.

Stormfather11 Sep 2014 5:48 p.m. PST

Very cool. When will they be released?

GOTHIC LINE MINIATURES11 Sep 2014 6:13 p.m. PST

I am definitely anxious to see all of them when the photos are posted on your website.

lou passejaire22 Sep 2014 4:24 a.m. PST

wanna try to be the first to issue them ? :o)

GOTHIC LINE MINIATURES22 Sep 2014 8:08 a.m. PST

Hello lou passegaire!Well my goal is simple, just to sculpt and produce quality figures show people my work and have some good conversations with friends who respect my work,it is fun to do produce something new like I did with the Dutch Infantry and Cossacks.
Cant wait to release them!
Cheers!
Gui

lou passejaire22 Sep 2014 9:29 a.m. PST

it was a joke :o)
and i'm happy to see people producing miniatures for minor powers ( or less known units ) even if this is not the best business choice .

GOTHIC LINE MINIATURES23 Sep 2014 2:34 a.m. PST

You are exactly RIGHT lou passejaire as you gathered I really do this for pleasure as it is virtually impossible to have any profit(as a small producer). So I decided to continue sculpting and casting I really like the hobby and I really like history and sculpting so,to stop was not an option!

Plus its not only the Romanians coming up,I have a number of surprises to be ready just before December I hope!

Disco Joe26 Sep 2014 1:17 p.m. PST

I am definitely anxious to see what other figures you plan on releasing and to see what they look like so please plan on providing photos on your website.

Pyrrhic Victory12 Sep 2015 8:33 p.m. PST

Any idea when these will be released?

autoblinda17 Sep 2015 5:11 a.m. PST

vinnatori de munti

autoblinda17 Sep 2015 7:44 a.m. PST

Please sculpt more axis and allied minor powers-we are over saturated with Germans,Brits and so on.

But more than 10 poses are necessary

Disco Joe21 Sep 2015 12:01 p.m. PST

I don't believe they will be available anytime soon since it has been over a year since they were first announced and they are still not listed on the website.

Well, while you're waiting for the 28mm Romanians … how about some 6mm Romanians as appetizers?

A full company of GHQ's beautiful Romanian infantry.

Close-up of an infantry squad.

Kit-bashed Vanatori di Carri (Tank Hunter) team. One man with SMG covers the other, who in this case carries a Tellermine.

Kit-bashed assault engineering team. Romanian infantry formation received many Italian Pignone M37 flame throwers after their painful assaults on Odessa and Sevastopol.

The Romanian motor-pool is, appropriately, something of a mixed-bag. Trucks were provided by German and French makers, with a few Italian vehicles mixed in. Add captured Russian trucks as you desire …

A company of Romanian R2 tanks (GHQ R2s, also available as German Pz 35t's).

A gun line of 100mm Skoda howitzers. Guns are from the GHQ Italian line, crews are mostly H&R Russian Arty crews, command and support from the GHQ Romanian line.

Germany the Romanians with many Pak97/38 75mm ATGs. The guns are from the German CinC line, the crews again from H&R Russian, and the command and security section are GHQ.

See? No need to wait to build a Romanian force! You just need to chose the right scale!

Disco Joe23 Sep 2015 3:29 p.m. PST

Mark, 6mm might be good for you but it is entirely too small for me. I prefer the 28mm figures.

GOTHIC LINE MINIATURES03 May 2016 8:30 a.m. PST
