Here is a paper craft one from Germy's World. PDF link

It's 15mm but could be scaled down easily (about 40% would probably look right.)

Print as many as you like and it is FREE!

You could probably net some heavy lifters from the Matchbox Skybusters range fairly inexpensively. How cheap? There are several useful pieces in these packs:

I recommend the Deamonscape/GZG dropships … The Skybusters are nice but at 1 inch wide, they'd be too small, IMO …

These are useful……

They do nice stuff at a good price …

I have a bunch of the Cosmo Hounds, and they make great shuttles. The Rajendar is used as a heavy freighter in my Silent Death games. You'd need to kitbash some landing gear onto it to use as a drop ship, though.

Goober, how large are those Cosmo Hounds? Do you have any pics of them in the flesh?

Goober11 Sep 2014 3:02 p.m. PST

From memory they are 8-9cm long. I was planning to use mine as objectives for an Enteebe-style scifi game.I will dig one out and post some pictures.

Several scratch built shuttles too…….I'm thinking of removing the 'wings' and adding big thrusters instead! In the bachground is one of a pair of MacDonald's Star Wars Y-fighters…..chunky enough for 'tramp freighters' in 6 mm.
