link Possible Soviet and US collusion against Chinese nuclear facilities? Seems you could get a pretty interesting campaign out of it, all sides trying to carry out operations as clandestinely as possible to avoid inflaming public opinion and causing nukes to fly. |

Sounds like a decent one. Of course, it must also be remembered that the Soviets wanted us to go in with them on taking out all of China's nuclear weapons capabilities, early on in the Cold War too. I believe the plan was to nuke them. |

It could have gone either way, depending on when in the timeline it occurs. Once you get into the 80's, the Chinese are quite eager to buddy up with the US, though by then, ICBM capabilities are also starting to become uncomfortable for everyone involved. |
