one of my favourite colonial armies..if only i had time and élan to piant them…very useful as wargame types and quite versatile
..they can be fielded Vs various types of African tribesmen;
vs Arabs (esclavagists) Vs less uniformed other askaris (mutineers of the Force Pblique)Vs Dervishes and Vs a mixture of the above mentioned..and, with a litte compromise in uniform appearance..vs Germans Schutztruppen at the beginning of WW1 in the colony..
