The new trailer for the Brad Pitt tank film. Interesting that they depict the green German tracers, for once, in a film.

Thoughts?

Take my money!

ajbartman08 Sep 2014 3:27 p.m. PST

Yep… I'll be there.

That trailer actually makes me a little wary of it. Obligatory love interest – how not needed. That and the holding the crossroads with a busted Sherman, sure…

Me too…

What ruins it for me is that the film is set during April 1945 and they used an early production Tiger borrowed from Bovington rather than the late production version with the redesigned top hatch and rubber-preserving steel roadwheels. How inaccurate.

Just kidding. I can't wait to see it.

WW II woody!!! Yikes!!

Ceterman08 Sep 2014 4:23 p.m. PST

Looks damn good, from the trailer. We can hope, can't we?…

nsolomon9908 Sep 2014 6:08 p.m. PST

Maybe, just maybe, they'll get this one close to right. Storyline does seem like Hollywood but the props, costumes, scenery, atmosphere feel authentic.

kallman08 Sep 2014 6:32 p.m. PST

This will be good.

Looks like a blast. Just needs androids and lesbians and it would be the greatest movie ever!

haywire09 Sep 2014 5:47 a.m. PST

probably be dragging my Dad to see it.

GROSSMAN09 Sep 2014 8:07 a.m. PST

Kind of hard to sneak lesbians in a WW II movie, they didn't exist until 1960's anyway…

Solzhenitsyn09 Sep 2014 9:03 a.m. PST

Looking forward to this movie, Oct. 17th is release date I believe.

Solzhenitsyn09 Sep 2014 9:07 a.m. PST

The Tiger is a real Tiger. It is the one from Bovington that was captured in North Africa and restored to operation.

Well the tanks had to fit in the scene, can't have them spread out the camera and only do so much.

Don't kill my buzz Grossman!

I work at Sony Studios so I get to see it for free and get a poster!

bgbboogie18 Sep 2014 11:57 a.m. PST

That will do me nicely thank you…

christot18 Sep 2014 12:18 p.m. PST

Looks pretty good, but I bet it's still the same tactical nonsense as SPR…still, we all know they will get my money just the same.
The BIG question is who is distributing it in the uk….cos that way I might get a premiere ticket…)))
