The Hail Caesar Army Lists book's Mycenean army includes "Royal guard medium infantry with double handed axes" -- anybody know a manufacturer who produces Bronze Age 2 handed axemen? |

Try Hittite ranges. Hinchliffe makes one. That figure is probably based on a depiction of a god. I have never heard of any evidence for a Mycenaean 2 handed axe warrior though. |

Double handed? Or double headed? |

Handed. Hail Caesar rules care whether you're forfeiting your shield arm to pack that extra wallop. |

Surely an error? Double headed axes, yes. I suppose you might make an argument that a double headed axe is a fairly hefty item but I have not seen any evidence for it being two-handed. Happy to be disabused if this is the case. |
