Hello gamers,

I've decided use a painting service for my FIW skirmish project. I'll be using Long Rifle, then later Muskets & Mohawks (both by THW). I've decided on a scale, if not specific figures. I'm looking for recommendations of painting services (preferably in the US), to paint FIW figures, especially (but not limited to) the "frontier"/"irregular" forces: Iroquois, Huron, Algonquin, (various) Rangers, Light Infantry, Highlanders, Provincials, Company Maritime, Runners/Voyageurs, etc.

FIW. 28mm. Painting service. Recommend one? Pictures? Link? Prices?

Thanks in advance for any advice you can offer. Cheers.

Hi,

I would recommend Eric of pigmented mini. I f you go to his site he has plenty of examples of his work in the gallery – including a nice grouping of Conquest FIW. I have had work done and have been very pleased with the result and Eric's service.

I just checked out their site. Great recommendation. It seems that the FIW period is a favorite era. Thanks!

Hello Grommet,
If you go to my website below, you will find that the figures that are painted, come from Evil Bob's Painting Service. I will let you form your own opinion from the pictures. I also have his website on the "Links " tab on the website. Pictor's also does a really fine job ( I also have their link too). I have dealt with both of these painting services. They are dependable, honest, and very good at their trade. You will not be disappointed. Both are rooted here in Western Pennsylvania, and have knowledge of the period.
take care,
Keith
