Is there an attractive 28mm WWI German General miniature? Senior Command, Kaiser WIlhelm II or Crown Prince Wilhelm? On foot or mounted. Either way. I just need one miniature for a photo op. Bill P. |

The only figures I have seen are 30mm Tradition here link and includes all top command. Considering how old they are, the sculpts are pretty good. You can see various photos of mine at mafricancampaigns.blogspot.com September 2012. Richard |

Great War Miniatures have just produced a fantastic set, they had painted samples in their WW1 game at Partizan on Sunday. Aly and Dave are not sure if they have been produced for sale yet but it should be soon so check with North Star who sell the GWM figures. |

From the original post, my guess is that Bill was referring to the German Great General Staff as it is usually translated, i.e. the highest level of German command? David O Brien, thank you very much for the update on the GWM set. Do you know if, painted up, any looked like famous German personalities of the war? Robert |

Thank you for the excellent photo. The gentleman in the middle foreground would pass for General von Kluck. Standing with the binocs, perhaps Kronprinz Wilhelm (though not really thin enough). Robert |
