Yes to both questions. Think of Kevin Dallimore's Foundry Painting Guide but entirely Napoleonic and using Vallejo paints on figures from a variety of manufacturers (i.e., not just Foundry paints on Foundry figures). I've got this one on the French army and am looking forward to the forthcoming one on the British. |

I highly recommend it…a bit pricey, but there is a lot of detail, great photography, and paint keys w/highlights for everything. Great "how to" from Archiduque. jeff |

Very tempting. Interesting to see they favour the paler blue for light infantry in French Army. Everything recently, on this forum, says no different from the line. The paler blue is just an Osprey error carried on ad infinitum, I gather TMP link |
