Autopilots handle much of the routine flying today – even automated landing systems. It's the nitty gritty of combat that requires the human operator. And the day it does not…I think we'll see BOLO's and ORGE taking the field before we see robo fighters. |

Actually, flying a plane is significantly less complex than driving a ground vehicle. We've had remotely piloted or autopiloted aircraft since the 1950s. It's taken until today to get autopiloted ground vehicles. |
