Well, I hope these inspire you to game, accessorize and make terrain for your Stargate, Pulp and VSF explorers and other genres:

Well I for one believe it would be great to dress up the walls and such, just to add more flare to the gameing table if none the less, now if you add a story to those walls all the merrier! plus it just plain beats bare blank walls. :D

I hope you'll take a look at my 28mm Pulp Egyptian archeological dig gallery. It's set on two 5 ft x 7 ft tables. The first table contains an Egyptian town. The second is the dig area with a huge temple complex and two large pyramids. You can see it at link

That is a great! looking table there! Looks like hours of fun there and all kinds of gaming as well!

War In 15MM,

OMG. Unbelievable. I am in absolute awe!

If only I could come up with something like that, but in 15mm.

Dan
PS. To accessorize the walls, I've been slowly buying up a few of these cheap brass bits:

That's a really good idea there, you might want to make some kind of molds to reproduce those might help keep cost down, using scullpy clay and molding.

War in 15mm…

Awesome Arabic town and Egyptian scenery War Monkey!!! I have a lot of 28mm tomb adventure sets coming out in my next Indiegogo in November. Dave Soderquist is making some ancient Egyptian tomb robbers and Tim Prow has been sculpting some awesome Egyptian undead, here are a couple based on the living versions of my Dark Fable Egyptian range

Samnite308,

Have you made any Egyptian corridors or tombs?

Dan

Dark Fable08 Sep 2014 2:13 a.m. PST

Dan,
No I have not. I don't have the resources to do a scenery project of this scale properly, so its just Egyptian miniatures at the moment. Although I do have plans in the future to make packs of scenery items for an Egyptian palace or tomb setting, such as columns, statues, furniture, sarcophagi, treasure items etc.

Thanks for those shots.
Rachel Weisz is completely "inspirational" for me. Is that the word I'm looking for? I think it will have to do.

Ms. Weisz has inspired me a great deal, as well.

@War in 15mm Is any of that Miniature Building Authority? Dan's comment about the 15mm version reminded me my little group has both 28mm and 15mm version of buildings and minarets, though my 15mm have long waited folks to do batte amongst them.

That, in spite of what I assumed might have been the start of some local Force-on-Force action… *sigh*

Doug, the merchant's house, the two arcades, one of the mosques and the separate minaret, and the town square fountain are all Miniature Building Authority pieces that I have repainted. Richard

AND brilliantly tied together!

I am in awe, but from the comments before, I have to stand in line. ;->=
