They are brilliant!

Love the Britishness of the infantry. Really Like the red officer shoulder tabs to:)

zrunelord06 Sep 2014 2:51 p.m. PST

Glad you like them Keith,thanks.
I remember the first time I saw them, I said these are very good for British troops & indeed they are.Dark red + bright red highlight really looks good on camo as does light blue.

Top job on the camo and detailing on those vehicles.

Henry Martini06 Sep 2014 3:35 p.m. PST

Hmmmm…. those figures look familiar. If I'm not mistaken they're conversions, or close copies, of the now ancient Platoon 20 Vietnam range.

They look like Armies Army's 15mm British Commonwealth to me – entirely new sculpts:

The text of the post identifies them as the Armies Army's 15mm figures, guys.

Really like the camo on the vehicles, turned out very nice. One of these decades I'm going to have to get myself an airbrush, when I have the space for a proper airbrush painting station, that is!

Armiesarmy07 Sep 2014 3:28 a.m. PST

Yes

Armiesarmy troops. Helmet and beret options. I also have bush hat and very soon scots guards in glengarry hats

Thanks for posting my link to:)

zrunelord07 Sep 2014 5:22 a.m. PST

Thanks all for the positive remarks,
BBurger I used the Airbrush only for the base coat the rest is brushwork.
I forgot to add that the best ways to make squigglies is to use the natural tendency of the hand to shake if not supported, the shaking is transferred to the springiness of the bristle.Let the brush do its work don't try to control it too much.

The 1/72 Merkava looks good with the infantry and Rebel's Merkas. I need a heavy to go with my Merkas also and this will fit the bill nicely though I would like to do a few mods to it.

zrunelord08 Sep 2014 6:23 a.m. PST

Thank you & yes we truly do Katzbalger,& even more will be coming out, unfortunately we can't get them all :(:(:(

Yes TK421 it does fit the bill well,it only needs a few ods as its shape is already futuristic. It would also be great converted to grav. Can;t wait to see JBR's reworked Merkas also.
Just finished more Brits & I'll be posting soon.

The new hull has been printed and sent off for casting if I recall. I just bought two ACE Merkava III's on e-bay for $9.00 USD each and $4.95 USD shipping. Not a bad deal at all. I also thought about modifying them to a grav version. The most dramatic mod I'm thinking of is the main gun.

zrunelord08 Sep 2014 12:04 p.m. PST

A very good deal Tk421.
Converting to Grav needs some thought but can be done.
I decided to leave the main gun as is because it has very good detail but if I were to change it, the best guns for that turret that come to mind are Khurasans.
Like the new Sov tank ones.
