I've been poking around your blog. Love the Assyrians! Did you manually black line the shield boss or is it the process of a wash? Or black primer and leaving a ring of black as you paint?

I paint the metal vallejo bronze, give it a black wash, and then highlight it vallejo brass. Nothing special really, but it does the trick grin
