For the princely sum of £3.50 GBP ASDA is selling 1:55 scale "Adventure Wheels" 0-4-0 Saddle tank Locomotives. They come in garish red, green and blue but can be repainted easily. Mine will be used as cover on the Ostfront. A bargain indeed even if one ignores the "lights 'n' sounds". |

Bad photo, I am mildly inebriated and in bed but it should give you an inkling. Figure is a Perry hybrid. The engine is usable from Cornwall to Manchuria. |

Interesting. I've seen that same toy here in the states, but they come without packaging in one of those open cardboard trays. Looks right on for scale. |

As mine will be used as cover/terrain, I will give it a coat of black and a Reichsbahn Eagle. Then it will work well! |

Nice find Porkmann – might get one (or two) for my Prohibition era project. Any idea if they do wagons/coaches as well? |

Tamsin, I didn't see any wagons. However I was in a rush… |
