Enjoy your new job. Are you still building Pre-Dreadnaughts? I enjoyed that game a lot and have started to buy 1/600 from Old Glory. Just trying to finish up the USS Illinois.

Like the blog.

Hey guys! Glad to hear from you. I am reading the group emails. Sorry to hear about the health issues of so many members. I hope you all pull through and do well.

Phil, I not building them any more but have moved to the exquisite WTJ 1/3000 stuff. Very good!

Ok, sorry to sound dumb, but what is WTJ?

I found some 1/600th Predreads at Little Wars and picked up the Illinois, Texas, Maine and Olympia. I'm just to the point of assembly on the Illinois. Overall it is representative of a pre-Dread but has way to many problems to be an accurate replica of the Illinois. Most glaring is the turrets which should be English style instead of the Monitor style turrets. I can live with it I guess.

If it looks clunky it works :p
