Yes, those are interesting. But based on the photo of the female airman, I suspect most if not all are reversed images, especially with so many lefties (holding rifles in left hands). Jim |

Colonel, A tintype is usually a camera original – so, unless the camera has an additional prism or mirror added, they are all reversed left to right. That is why the name tags are all reversed. Great shots and very evocative. |

Funny, if you completely ignore the uniform, weapons, etc and focus only on the faces, they look exactly like ACW tin types. Without the beards, of course. |
