We had a wonderful battle last night using Piquet (Hallowed Ground) and my 15mm Maximilian collection. See the battle report and lots of photos on my blog: link Lots of other items on the blog to checkout. Please snoop around. :-) Eric Burgess |

Hey Eric. Great AAR. Can you tell me what books you're reading to research the Maximilian Adventure? Tough to find sources in English … thanks brian |

This looks great Eric and I especially like the terrain which has a great atmosphere. Still think your blog is one of the best. Regards Robert |

@Robert – thank you! I appreciate that. I don't think anybody realizes how much work it is to run a game with good terrain. @Brian – Here are the books I have read and used so far: Imperial Adventurer by Haslip The Crown of Mexico by Haslip Maximilian's Lieutenant by Pitner A Black Corps d'Elite by Hill & Hogg An American in Maximilian's Mexico by Anderson Cactus Throne by O'Connor Some Wikipedia in Spanish and English too. |

Great AAR! In addition to the above the Company of Military Historians published a book with some good uniform info about 30 years ago – I have a copy if you have any specific queries |

Nice write-up Eric. I love a "war room" filled with books too. I hope to see you in January for some gaming in Charlotte. Buck |
