I was thinking last night that as it's the 30th anniversary of Ghostbusters, it was about time someone made some miniatures. Running a search on here I found that Tango had posted that Crooked Dice have released Ghostbusting equipment in their accessories range.

However, what Tango failed to also note was that they have also released all four of the original Ghostbusters AND Slimer!

Can be found here:

I'm so happy…

I can just about guarantee you, that's what Guild of Harmony's Aykroyd figure is supposed to be:

Steamier, though.

Chironex – Now that's pretty cool. Might have to get that figure to represent the narrator/hero of The Ghost Extinguisher by Frank Gelett Burgess. As this was published in 1905, this figure is a good fit for an Edwardian Ghostbuster. Any fan of Ghostbusters should read this story, as it may have influenced Mr Ackroyd…

In relation to my first post, if we have Ghostbusters, we need foes. Obviously, Heresey Miniatures Demon Hounds are a good fit for the Terror Dogs and Husk from the Chaos in Cairo range (with a suitable paint job) is a good fit for the Librarian in her 'scary' form.

As for Gozer in 'his' feminine form, it took me a while to remember where I'd seen it, but DW439 Eldrad from the Doctor Who range manufactured by Black Tree Design is pretty much spot on.

Already got the vinyl Stay Puft Marshmallow Man from way back, know where on the web to find a papercraft firehouse and know that there's a 1/43 Ecto-1 out there.

Once I've assembled everything… you know who to call…

HorrorClix has some generic Ghostbusters that could work.

Khurasan has some in 15mm too.

etotheipi – Horrorclix are not as readily available on this side of the pond as they are stateside and why buy generic Ghostbusters when I can have the originals? £15.00 GBP for all four 'busters and slimer is a pretty good deal.

boy wundyr x – All my other figures are 28mm, so need 28mm Ghostbusters.

When I posted the second comment, I was at a machine that refused access to Heresy's site, so got the name wrong – it's the Hellbeasts that resemble Terror Dogs, not the Demon Hounds. Looks like they're not readily available on the Heresy site, but appears that they will be available in resin after the Heresy Kickstarter has finished.

So, according to their webiste, Crooked Dice has sold out of their 'paranormal exterminators' and related accessory pack. Not really surprising really.

However, in a news item they hinted at another five related miniatures that they intend to release. Speculation is rife…
