My wargamer obsession with storage solutions brought me to a nifty, cheap and recycled solution for my growing 6mm models collection. Check out Brooklyn Wargaming my new 6mm miniatures storage boxes.

I have been using hubless VHS cases since 2000 or so. I just bought another case of 50 plastic cases for $25. USD All of my micro armor, 6mm ACW, 6mm Napoleonics and all my ACW ironclads are stored the same as you describe in your article. The figures have survived two moves with almost no damage.

Nice idea. I have been using expensive plastic jewelry organizers from AC Moore (Crafts). Where'd you get the cases?

I scored mine from a dumpster but T Callahan (above) knows where to order them on the cheap.

Awesome idea for storage containers.

Kimber, are the figures just loose inside the boxes?

Figures are on metal washers and cases are lined with magnetic sheets. Nothing shifts or moves whether I stack them on end or shove them in a bag.
