I got a shock last Sunday when one of the 2 Lancaster's passed overhead at just above tree level. The throaty roar of the engines brought quite a few people out of their houses to see this great plane. |

I got a similar shock when the Vulcan bomber flew low over the A34 near Oxford recently. Had never seen it flying before; very bat-like! |

I was up on a roof in the early '80's when a Vulcan flew overhead, low; at the CNE Airshow. Looked as big as a Vogon Destructor ship, to me! |
