I'm curious: has anyone in the USA had any luck ordering from the Mirliton italian website? It seems to be the only reliable place to buy the Grenadier fantasy line anymore, particularly concerning the Half Orcs.

I've ordered direct from Mirliton several times with no problem at all.

I've heard very good things about Merliton. However, it's not the only place to buy the Fantasy Warriors line. Forlorn Hope Games carries a good portion of the line. My buddy ordered a batch of barbarian cavalry from them and was very satisified.

I'll have to check out Forlorn Hope games. How is the shipping from Mirliton, by the way? I've heard it's pretty expensive.

I honestly don't remember the shipping on my orders, so I must have thought it was reasonable.

Forlorn Hope seem to have the masters to the figures[1], so if you want figures they're not listing, they can remould them and make them (I suspect their bandwidth for doing this would be limited by time/costs involved eventually!).

They were very responsive when I emailed them and their delivery was quick (and free for ordering over a tenner) -- I will certainly be going back to them for more figures.

[1] My understanding is they're working closely with Doug at EM4 who owns the ranges.

EM4 owns the old Grenadier Range? I was not aware of that.

jpattern205 Sep 2014 7:25 a.m. PST

EM4 and Mirliton kinda-sorta have joint custody. It's a tangled tale.

I see. Is EM4 based out of the US, or Britain?

jpattern206 Sep 2014 7:29 a.m. PST

UK.
