At Salute I picked up a flyer for Crisis in Antwerp on 8 November 2014. I have been to the show 3 times before and have always had a good time so having a few days free I thought that I would go this year as well. When I checked the website this week I found that it had moved to 1 November, which is a Belgian public holiday, making it more difficult to get a hotel and pushing prices up. I should have thought that events like this were planned months ahead so that by Salute the date would have been certain. Has anyone else been caught out by this change and do they know the reason for it? |

Crisis has always been the first weekend in November as far back as I can remember. |

Yup, not changed as far as I know. I was there last year and I think even then it was down as 1st November. |

So, a quick dash from Madrid to Antwerp is planned, Mr M? |

Yup, as far as I know it has always been announced for Nov 1. As for a public holiday, that's a mixed blessing. It is not a traditional holiday weekend in which Belgians make city trips or anything like that, although some people might do that. Nov 1 is All-Saints day, and is the traditional time of the year for remembering deceased family members. |

There have never been flyers around with november 8th on it. The final date was decided before we printed these. |
