Looking for suggestion for what to paint for a Provincial cavalry unit other than the Queens Rangers or British Legion. Any out there with good documentation? Preferably one similar to a regular dragoon regiment.

King's American Dragoons were uniformed similarly to British dragoons.
In addition, there is a surviving guidon.

Kings American Dragoons looked exactly like British with blue lapels and red-crested helmets.

Yes, that's a much more interesting combat unit than the KAD, which did not really see much action – although the latter's CO did later become Minister of War for Bavaria.
