The Animated Bayeux Tapestry was created as a student project while at Goldsmiths College. Just as the historic original embroidary does, the animation depicts the lead up to to the Norman Invasion of Britain in 1066. It proved popular online gaining almost 750,000 views and being requested for downloads by teachers around the world. In 2009, Marc Sylvan redid the soundtrack to include orignal music and sound effects." vimeo.com/15598167 Hope you enjoy! Amicalement Armand |

Love the sound effects. William's burp is spot on. |

There's a Terry Gilliam quality to it of course. |

I have linked to that for years on YouTube. It's a classic bit of fun for geeks. @ saltflats: I think that "burp" comes from that old guy "in his cups" on the left. :) I wish the battle were a little longer. Oh, well. Try watching both versions in sequence, the differences in the soundtracks is fun to compare. I like parts of each over the other. Carmina Burana is cool, but the new music trumps use of "Gladiator"…. |
