Hello All,
Click on the link below to see the new sculpts from Crann Tara's Jacobite range. Really nice British Dragoons and French firing line figures. Enjoy.

They look very nice indeed. I'm no rivet counter but which regiment(s) are they modeled off? I only ask as the quadruple lace pockets look distinctive.

Also, what is the scale comparison or can you only make that call after casting?

Hello Unlucky General,
The figures are 1/56th scale about 30mm tall and are very nicely done. As for the particular unit they were based off of. It looks to be Kerr's 11th Dragoons.

My wife has got me watching "Outlander" on cable. I am feeling the urge to buy Highlanders growing stronger.

Hello nnascati,
I know the feeling. The more that comes out in this range, the more I am drawn to it. If you have any questions just email me at tlo1027@aol.com . Look forward to doing business with you.

The French sculpts, are they for a particular regiment and also could they be used for compagnie franches de la marine, abeit not their campaign uniforms?

Hello marco,
The Irish Piquet uniforms are the French regular uniforms that were worn in the Irish Brigade. The Piquets could be used for 1745 de la Marine. Two things to keep in mind is that the musket is slightly different, and cartridge box or belly box depending on what research you are adhering to. The figures have the cartridge box with a strap. This is one were the call will be with the individual taste of the gamer.

Keith
