Back with a smaller piece this time. A power station built from a Hot Wheels car launcher. Very little conversion work required on this one.

Also, at the link above a bit of a review of the Girder and Panel pieces currently being rebadged and sold in the "Power City" line of toys.

Coming later this week, something really impressive!

I've been looking at my kids one of these, waiting for them to not notice Daddy taking it. Great post.

That would be a monster of a piece in 6mm.

Thanks folks.

kidbananas,
It sure would, the walkway could be a landing strip!

Spaceman Spiff01 Sep 2014 5:42 a.m. PST

I'm even considering this for 10mm. Excellent work!

Thanks Spiff,
I'd love to see what you come up with!

Kid and Spiff,
After hearing from you guys, I'm thinking about using it with my 10mm sci-fi stuff as well. I'll see about building 2 ramps. If I'd thought about it before, I would have used corrugated cardboard a'la garage doors instead of granny grating to cover the interior openings.

It just so happens that I picked up another one this week. It's an earlier version that is the same shape and fans, but without most of the greebling. It'd probably be a good candidate for a 10mm building. If I can just find some sort of domes to cover the fans….
