I recently ordered several sets of Splintered Light Miniatures 20mm fantasy line. I painted the first couple this morning: Bugbears!

Good question. Perhaps in case of a siege? I have 9 units of Bugbear foot, and 3 crossbow in my Bugbear army. So, the ratio is 3 – 1 in favor of smashing.

Makes sense, just seems a waste when they can do so much more up close. Those axmen are really nice, esp given the size of the minis. |

The goblins are much smaller and the Bob Olley detail comes shining through. |

I have some of these myself (still unpainted) – beautiful sculpts. Figure the crossbows are 'super-heavy' in nature, perfect for penetrating tough dwarvish armor! |
