I went to the Lowry gallery in Manchester a week ago, and saw some of the original models etc from Childrens TV in the 50s to 80s.

Ah, the Clangers. Remember them well, in fact my brother bought me a stuffed Clanger a few years back that makes that weird Clangers whistling noise – that takes me back :)
