They're not released yet. That is just the box art and troop layout pictures for the Valkir set. They are in final prep, but won't be released until everything in wave 3 of the Kickstarter has been produced. There are still 5 or so kits in various stages of pre-production that are holding up wave 3 releases. They do look damn good though ;) |

If those grav Stugs get produced my wallet is going to be in trouble. |

I'm still waiting on the futuristic Hanomag to be produced. I did not do the kickstarter but wish I had on this one. I bought a box set of the basic infantry and support weapons and just have not gotten around to assembling them as yet. I really want to do a futuristic WW II game wit these guys. I am curious are there any plans for an opposing force? A similar treatment of say either the British or American forces would be just too cool. |

StuG's are in the pipeline, but much farther down the road. OpFor is up next. Mark (Dream-Forge Games), is working on designs for the Shadokesh, the main alien antagonist race. His plans are to go direct to retail with single kits after the kickstarter kits (all 30) finally make it into production and backers orders have been fulfilled. So, after KS orders, he has plans for some modular plastic building sprues to provide cover for Leviathan battles with the current models released. Next kit after that looks to be a Shadokesh basic troops box, and other boxes to flesh them out following. Releases may be interspersed with more Eisenkern units to fill them out (StuG, light walker, another kit) Oh yeah, those StuG's are designed to come with both AG/Repulsor lift AND Treads! |

Shadokesh? Tell us more, please. |

Shadokesh: Alien race that is in a constant state of war with the Eisenkern realm, as well as other Human and alien realms. They are an 8-10 foot tall, slender race with avian roots. They have advanced technology compared to most of the other races in the Iron Core universe, and can utilize Jump Gates and shield their equipment much more easily. They are semi-gestalt consciousness, that connects to each other in a great melding every 96 hours. They are single minded for the most part, and view other races as basically insects in their way, to be eradicated and used for resources along with their planets. Check out the Dream-Forge Games FaceBook page. Mark Mondragon has posted up sketching and preliminary design work for the core Shadokesh trooper. link Or a pic over on Dakka

Just what we need, more space Nazis. |

The only thing more fun than killing Nazis is Zombie Nazis. The only thing more fun than killing Zombie Nazis would be Zombie Space Nazis. Now there is an idea! |

Well, thankfully they're not Nazi's. In this timeline things branch off in the early 1900's, and WW1 and WW2 never happen. The Eisenkern realm was settled by mostly German peoples, and they have developed along the earlier German history (Houses in a loose federation that still fight amongst themselves). If the helmet is too German Heer for you, there are alternate helmets for each armor style. They are seperate, so can be swapped with any third party heads of appropriate size. |

ski2060 please do not misunderstand, I like the WW II German look. After all I already have the regular infantry figures. I was paraphrasing a comment I and others have made on the Weird WW II forum. And yes I did note the different helms for the heavy guys. Most Teutonic looking which would be in keeping with the theme. Oh! I just had a thought these newest figures would be perfect for Sardaukar if someone wanted to do a Dune themed game. |

I was replying to Fonthill, I should have made that clear in my response. I actually don't own any of the plastic Sturmtruppen, but I have some of the older metal Kriegsmarine models. I am using them as proxies for my Weird War 2 German Drop troops for SoTR 1949. |
