Full disclosure I am a friend of the author, John Beatty. All in all, I found Crop Duster a good read. Its about two pilots a US bomber pilot and a German fighter pilot. It is a trove of well told incidents and trivia about the air war. Every event in the book actually happened although not to the same two people, which makes the characters larger then life. Although the book narrates events from the early years of WW2, it concentrates on the start of the precision daylight bombing campaign by the USAAF. The last mission is a nailbiter. I recommend this book to anyone interested in the air war over Europe.
