Willy's Amazons for Blood Bowl are now available via an Indiegogo campaign. A 12 players team will cost you € 55.

She's stretching!:p
I like the sculpts, has anyone had experience with Indiegogo?
I've only pledged on Kickstarter projects.
Thanks, Steve

Indiegogo have a hare-brained billing system where they take money from your PayPal the moment you pledge, which really encourages people to not go in until the last few days and may thus be to blame for the lack of success on some campaigns.

Other than that admittedly major concern, they seem a more honest business than Kickstarter. For example, I gather they do occasionally do something about questionable projects/creators, which Kickstarter is extremely reluctant to do (basically, unless there is a media Bleeped textstorm like for Tentacle Bento, no chance in hell Kickstarter does anything).

Now, how can I incorporate a unit of these Amazons as a militia unit for my AWI collection?

#8 would be "illegal" foot to the face! :P
Thanks for the info on Indiegogo.

And they have already met their initial goal and still have 43 days till the Indiegogo campaign finishes. I participated in a couple of Indiegogo fund raisers including the last Willy's Miniatures did for their halfling blood bowl team. I had zero problems with either one.
I also find it irritating that your money is taken right up front, it makes it difficult to change your pledge as you have to directly contact the creator to either raise, lower or cancel your pledge.
Also take note that there are two types of Indiegogo fund raisers. One is like Kickstarter, if its not funded all the money is returned. The other one allows the creator to keep the funds whether they make the goal or not.

Went there, no problem, though that immediate money-grab is a problem especially when you later want to change your mind (either way, out, down or up).
As Kickstarter officially does not serve continental Europe projects, Indiegogo is often the crowdfunding of choice…
