Finally getting around to painting up the in-progress buildings I showed a couple weeks ago. You can see the in-progress pictures
here:

The first one done is the "Building Under Construction" which is based on a "Fast Lane" (Toys R Us store brand) Parking Garage that I found at a resale shop for $3 USD! Though I don't currently play Necromunda (have the figs though and hope to someday), this building has a very Necro look to me. As you can see, it's quite a sizable structure.

Side view

Close up of the ground floor HVAC/Elevator shaft unit. The whole model is painted in a very fast method of prime, drybrush basecoat, 2 brown washes and drybrush tan, so it's slightly less impressive up close.

Though there's alot of open space, there's sitll alot of opportunities for cover, and I'm working on some construction and warehouse themed scatter terrain (coming later)

Lots more pics and my ramblings here:

My Godson has that very same Geotrax train station, along woth a virtual city's worth of buildings & the like. However he still likes to play with them at 11 years old, though now we use it as 40K terrain often as not. He cant wait for his little brother to be old enough so he can play with the Geotrax with him.

So when they grow out of it, what are the odds you'll be able to acquire them?

My son is very much into trains too, but it's all Thomas and Chuggington. Luckily I'm a very good resale shopper, because that stuff aint cheap!
