I'm currently preparing a bunch of Foundry British AWI figures this long weekend. One of the things I need to do is make flag poles for the standard bearers. I intend to use GMB flags but I don't know what the dimensions of the GMB flags are. Can someone who's used them please measure the fly for me? The second question is where can I get finials and cords? Thanks for the help. |

Wow, I sent and email to GMB then posted here. By the time I was done with this post I received this from GMB: Hi Ray approx 36.5mm on the staff – I'd allow 37 though… The Continentals are smaller and vary quite a bit. Happy to help with any other questions. Grahame, GMB

By the time I read that, my friend Ed sent me this: Front Rank sells them:EQ52 Flag Tops with tassels (x 8) £3.10 GBP
So thanks--already got my answers but I still thought I post them here in case the answers are of help to someone else. |

All my AWI figures have GMB flags. The flags are a lovely addition to my troops. They are very realistic and nicely highlighted and shadowed. |
