The Brigade Bargain Bash Siegfried light recon tank, the parts used are as follows, 1x SF15-306 Baldur Light Tank hull- £3.00 GBP 1x SF15-403a Tassigny MICV turret- £1.00 GBP 1x hatch cover- bits box 1x 18mm washer- bits box Simply drill a 7mm hole into the top plate of the Baldur tank hull glue the washer over that to form a turret ring (which adds a few mm's of needed height to cater for miniature scale creep) glue the drivers hatch to the upper front hull then just pop on the Tassigny turret it's that easy. Now you have a fast two man reconnaissance hover tank that has anti detective armoured plating a 30mm autocanon and a light defensive laser, not a bad little kitbash for that price. :) zac

I've got a fair few of Brigade's tanks from the old designs. Been scratching my head what to do with them, those older models were quickly overtaken in the scale creep stakes and come across as small these days. |

I think that the last of the old all metal models in the Brigade catalog are going to be shelved pretty soon hence the price drop to clear out the old stock. While the prices are low i think i am going to take the oppertunity of getting a few more and see what i can do with them, at the moment i'm eyeing up a couple of the SF15-508a Li Peng Assault Gun's to be used as mech destroyers by adding a bigger gun barrel and some rolled up camo netting or extra side armour. :) zac |
