I'm looking at starting a new era for history, specifically for the Timurid/Safavid period and I came upon Old Glory's website. While they do have the range which will work I usually do not buy things sight unseen. Is there any way or any one which would enable me to see the 15th Century Persia range for Old Glory? |

I won a bag of lighter Turcoman warriors from that range. I painted one so far. I also saw other cavalry in the bags and they were basically like this one: link I haven't seen their infantry. It's too bad that OG doesn't put photos of their figures some times or have really bad photos. Since most of the Ancient/Medieval figures could also serve in many different armies, I think that OG loose sales. |

i would not buy them out of general principle. if they can't be bothered to show you what they look like they should not get a sale….. igwarg, my guess is that they don't show the models so that customers will do exploratory purchases to see what the models look like and i'll bet they get a lot of sales that way …. |

I don't think that's it. I suspect that, either accidently or through incompetence, they didn't format/edit/size the pictures properly and aren't motivated to replace them because sales are good. I keep searching ebay and sales pages here hoping to pick some up second hand to see if they are appropriate for a future project. |

Honestly there is no excuse nowadays for not having Nice large pictures of your miniatures, online. 10 years ago I'm sure it was a major undertaking. But now just about every electronic device has a decent digital camera and hosting is dirt cheap. My days of exploratory purchases is over. If you can't post a good sized picture, I can't be bothered with your line of figures. It is that simple. Xin |

People have been asking about this mysterious range since the dawn of time -you think they could have dug out a picture or two -damn it I might have to order some myself and put photos of them all over the Internet. Trouble is you have to order a stonking great bag of figs and some of OGs stuff is monumentally , not to mention a bit of variation in sizes between ranges. And this is from someone who's a fan!!! |

I have these figures and I would say they are quite nice, especially the armoured cavalry. I promise I will post pics. I am almost near the end of a lengthy home reno and everything is packed up … somewhere. Look here sometime in November for pics. Mark |
