i would say that tatters of the king is one of the best campaigns for CoC…
it expands upon and delivers some great architecture for the Hastur Mythos

I found it well written (for CoC) ..and very easy to get into the feel of the overall scenario

I am currently running it and my players loved it. The story is very good and original. The investigation is very subtle but easy to follow. The best part is that the cultists actually have personality and do not behave in the usual way as portrayed in previous Coc scenarios. I would definitely recommend this campaing.

I know this isn't a role playing game site, per say, but the hobbies overlap. I am looking to run a Call of Cthulhu campaign, and have always loved the king and yellow, Hastur, and all those jokers. has anyone run the Tatters of the king campaign? if so, how was it? worth investing in? naturally, these things are a matter of taste, but I got the impression that this one is more eerie and atmospheric than some others, which is what I am going for. I'm not so much interested in blasting cultists and monsters… this time around, anyway.

I've read it but not yet run it. I thought it was brilliant, original and very authentically Cthulhu. However I wouldn't recommend it to a novice Keeper as it relies much more on atmosphere and wierdness than combat.

this is all very encouraging! I have run a few one-offs so far, and have had great success. I personally enjoy writing my own tales, but would like to see how a whole campaign comes together before I attempt to write my own. thanks for the input!

My group is about halfway through the campaign and enjoying it a lot. They have always enjoyed the roleplaying aspect more than the fighting.
