Hi all, I was hoping someone might be able to offer some assistance: Were the cannons used by the British army during the Sikh Wars essentially the same as Napoleonic pieces? So would I be able to use some of the plastic sets available for Britsh Napoleonic Foot and Horse Artillery with Newline's artillery crews? Cheers Ryan |

The horse artillery would do for Bengal Presidency types. |

The 6 and 9 pdr. guns were the same but the 12 and 24 pdr. howitzers were unlike any of the Napoleonic howitzers. |

Thanks chaps. I was wondering about the howitzers, but as this will be for Black Powder, I'll just use the 6 and 9 pdrs to represent the batteries for the time being. |

I am sure Sean will be adding them to the range shortly, NL's 1/72 are significantly bigger than 20mm plastic ranges- maybe with the exception of Strelets. |

Thanks Bruntonboy. I might drop them a line and see what's in the pipeline. I've put my Newline stuff next to my Hat, Caesar and Revell figures, and the match is absolutely perfect! |

The newline napoleonics are smaller than the Sikh wars stuff but I'll take your word for it! |

That's good to know. I was planning on fleshing out some of my Hat and Revell Napoleonics stuff at a later date with Newline's stuff as well. Is there a major difference in the size that would be noticeable with the plastics? |
