Ok, the table is mostly cleared, the abbreviated paint set is out and in use,so it is time to build. And the mood of the summer is CARS! With that who makes the coolest wheels? I back building to that High Tech Post Apocalyptic style again, and as always wheels are pita. |

Yeah, ramshackle is great, and if you need wheels, he's got a great variety that are available separately in the "Tridlins" section. However, are you looking for 15mm? I notice that you cross posted there. I can't help you with that. If I were going to jump into a post apoc vehicle scale other than 28mm, it would be 20mm as it opens up the wide world of Hot Wheels and Matchbox cars for conversion. Companies like Stan Johansen make accesory packs and minis in that scale. |

15mm, well, Khurasan has a few and so does Antenociti's. |

I agree with Lion, Antenociti's warthog is the best! |

I was gonna clarify it to 15mm, then I got distracted at Ramshackle's site. I have made my own in the past, and I ordered a bunch from GZG also in the past as you see here: link Looking closer at my collection it appears i have a butt load of vehicles to paint, but I want to build, mostly road combat vehicles. Thus a need for wheels… |

As odd as this might sound have you thought about useing Lego wheels, they come in all different sizes and treads i think they all have separate rubber tires so all you really need to do is pop the tire off paint the wheel slip the tire back on and weather them accordingly. Below are the first two auction for small wheels that i found with a quick search on E-Bay, circumference 8mm x 6mm wide.

The problem with taking a 18 month hiatus on a project is you forget that tricks that you had figured out, even if you wrote them down. Found my project notebook, the method I am going with is nested Evergreen tubes and rod, then using the miter saw to cut off appropriate width wheels. |
