OK it took me ages to finish them (my mantra these days), but I like the outcome. TBH these aren't too far off the standard "sci-fi infantry" mark but they have a distinctive design that I quite like. Great sculpts with lots of diversity too.

Thanks. Not all wars happen in grimdark concrete megacities, sometimes there are pretty flowers :) |

Very nice indeed, both the paint and the bases! What did you use for the plants? |

@War Monkey: the plants are just this foamy green flock stuff, painted a bit. It comes in a tight irregular clump, not the loose stuff you sprinkle. |

@War Monkey… Not a bad idea! I can't tell you who makes the stuff I did use, I just got some in a baggie from a friend. @ArmiesArmy: based with Privateer's Ordic Olive, armour plates are Reaper's Okavango Swamp highlighted up to almost white. |

I'll have to give the green pad stuff a try myself. |

Great job on the painting. I'm really impressed! And I say that as someone who's not a big fan of the models. |

The "foamy green stuff flock" is made by Woodland Scenics. Most hobby stores will carry it. |
