This guy came out in the History Channel series Modern Marvels (Episode: "Steam") some years back. His projects are pretty cool. |

I looked at the third one, and thought, tracked helmet many years ago. Point is not the eye candy, which many of us have seen before, but the noble attempt to school VSF designers to try to stay more in the 'S', or I should say, engineering of the period. "… I think a good steampunk [sic] design is in part looking really dorky, or really stupid." We will ignore that he doesn't differentiate between steampunk and Victorian Science Fiction. *sniff* Well done, CRABFU! Doug |
