I've added a few more flying saucers in different styles and sizes to my fleet…

Industrial Patrol Wessel

check 'em out!

Also, there's a little primer (rant? helpful advice?) on using Cyrillic letters in there.

some of those look like alien…..'toys'….NOT that I'd know anything about THAT sort of thing, mind you!

And I'm sure you knew that the reason so many of the Cyrillic letters are patterned after Greek letters is that the two Eastern Orthodox monks (Cyril and Methodius) who developed it spoke Greek as their main language.

I like your explanation of the Cyrillic alphabet. I took Russian in college many, many, many years ago and have always cringed when a backwards R or N is used as a standard R or N just to give it a Russian flavor, as in the movie "The Russians Are Coming! The Russians are coming!"

Your spaceships are neat looking.

Thanks. I do know about the origin of the system; I took Russian many years ago in church. :) Beyond that, I can also: swear, order food, complain about the price, ask for directions to the bathroom, and follow (most reasonably coherent) spoken directions to the bathroom.

You've got some great stuff there, but the GIFs that change so quickly make it hard for me to see each shot for what it is.

If you want to see the Cyrillic alphabet abused, I recommend Flames of War.

I pray our puny Earth weapons will be enough to stop them.

but the GIFs that change so quickly

I have the GIFs set for 2000ms (2 sec) delay? Is that too fast? Are they not doing that on some systems (I've not seen overclocked GIFs for a decade or so.)

I pray our puny Earth weapons will be enough to stop them.

Things just haven't been the same
Since the flying saucers came
Now the aliens are on the loose

Well we tried to hold them back
Tried to ward off their attack
But our atom bombs were just no use
