Lads, I've been working on a simple d6 based homebrew set of pulp rules, similar to my d6 Nam rules. In that set, figures have a single trait called "Combat Effectiveness" which they roll to fire, save, etc. This is loosely based on the "FUBAR" ruleset where they use an "Expertise" trait. Right now, I've hit a wall as to what to call this trait for pulp use. So I'm looking for suggestions. Character Quality? Action Trait? -B6

I think "moxie" is the best and most fitting.

How general or specific is the setting? Moxie would fit well for Pulp Noire, but seems a bit out of place for more general adventures, westerns, fantasy, horror… I don't picture the Phantom being a moxie sort.
