I'm talking about these guys here:

rebelminis.com/pale.html

What if they are painted with paler skins, and the clothing and accessories were done in black?

Could it work? Maybe as an early version of the Borg (a Skynet-like prototype)? Thoughts?

Just wondering.

Dan
PS. Their armor reminds me a little of the outfit worn by "One":

I like them. If they were all human, I'd use them as Cybertronic. But the mixedd species serves well as Borg. I'd say go for it. Black may obscure the details too much. I'd maybe use charcoal for the uniforms.

These are good…

Mick Yarrow picked up the Kremlin line…

Specifically the "Zomborgs"…

Nice guy packed up and shipped my order very quickly – received it without incident.

I've looked at these from time to time, and wondered if anyone had figured out how many 'races' are included? They aren't all unique, are they?

I half blame my poor eyesight, half the tiny piccies that don't stand blowing up well enough.

Dan,

I did not think about the Pangalactic Legion as Borg. Since you brought up the idea, I think they would work well with the paint scheme you suggested.

Good idea!

Thanks, Dan, but I'm still confused.

Even the TMP link you gave:

>> Are there any duplicates in the species portrayed in the figures? It's not entirely clear from the pics.

> There are no duplicates in the figures. Each is different.

…is open to interpretation. I suppose I'll just have to order some, and try to figure it out.

I haven't even sorted my 'sample' order from Splintered Light, yet! *sigh*

Hi Doug,

Here are the figures, back when PF had just finished the greens:

I seem to recall PF once said he used 4 different alien heads. Might be good to check with him to verify.

You guys have any suggestions on what 15mm figure out there could pass for a BORG QUEEN?

Let's try this again …

Mike,

It's definitely on my list of must-dos!

They are playing First Contact on tv tonight, and I've noticed two things so far …

1) About half of the Borg shown with any level of detail are non-human in origin, which plays out great with my choice of figures; and

2) The character named "Lilly" uses the term "bionic zombies" to describe the Borg. I've never really seen them as cyber-zombies, until now. But their organic skin definitely looks dead or dead-ish. It's no surprise since they are willing to go in space walks without any environmental suits.

The Zomborgs. I recently picked up 25 painted Borgs on eVilBay. Very happy. Now what to do with them?

Gunner Dunbar13 Nov 2014 11:53 p.m. PST

should work, i'm personally going to see if a suitable head swap will make them into just 1 race.

Does anyone have comparison pics of the Kremlin minis with other manufacturers?
