Those Zvezda sets rock. I'm using quite a few for my 20mm FoW stuff.

Yes, and sadly I am getting used to the price now as well – that's a worry grin

The engineers fill a nice gap. Thanks, Armand.

Those engineers look very nice, though I am left wondering what is that roll that two of them are carrying – is it supposed to represent telephone cable?

Happy you enjoyed them boys!. (smile)

Griefbringer, I think the roll is a lane marker to show following troops the safe path through the minefield. I could be wrong, its been a long time!

Those are some great looking models. Definitely have a bunch of Zvezda in my own FoW in 1/72 adventures, and if I may end up picking both of these kits up at some point.

I definitely like the "tracks" of the towed Maxim on the skis… a very nice touch!

Glad you like them too my friend.

Mine detector Mark 1: no batteries required!

Gotta get me some of those RE's for my Brit forces; yes I believe the reel is supposed to be white tape for marking safe lanes but could easily be used to represent demolition or telephone cable – very useful indeed!

Disappointed with the lack of detail on the Soviet Maxim guns wheels though; if Pegasus can do it, I expect better from Zvezda!
