Interesting when scenario writers cannot even get the state correct in their research. Piedmont was fought in Virginia. The battlefield lies Northeast of Staunton near the current day village of New Hope.

Actually an area covered in rolling hills that greatly influenced the decisions made by the generals.

Oops. But to be fair, there is also a Piedmont in West Virginia, and I suspect at some point someone involved in that game saw that the Shenandoah Valley was in Western Virginia and accidentally dropped the "ern".
