Hi there. I like your minis, but at £9.00 GBP for a single human figure, they're way out of my price range…and most people's, I think. Will the price be coming down to something reasonable, say £2.00 GBP for a human, when you start casting in lead?

The Resins are strictly a limited Run for those who like Resin – even if I sell all 50 of each I will just break even (cost of Sculpting, Casting etc) AND my prices are much cheaper than people like Hasslefree who are (on average) £10.00 GBP+ so my prices are actually kinda competitive. As for Metals, at £2.00 GBP each most small companies who have to outsource sculpting and casting would lose money at that price – and I am no different sorry.

That's sad to hear; margins must be really tight. So how much will these mutants be, if you get them cast up in metal?
There are still a lot of small companies like CP models, Four A, Newline, etc, who do indeed sell new sculpts at 28m scale for £2.00 GBP or less per mini – and evne outsource sculpting and casting – maybe you could contact one of them and find out how they make a profit.
I really hope you find a way to bring the cost down and make a living, and indeed, you're right about the prices of Hasslefree's resins – for me, all Hasslefree minis are right out of the price range, as good sculpts for a low price are available from companies such as those I mentined above, as well as in-house sculptors, such as Copplestone.

Good luck anyway! Maybe a crowdfunder might be a good way to bring those initial costs down…
