It appears that the later two battles of the WOTRs saw the use of mercenaries with pikes and hand gunners at Bosworth Field (1485) and Stoke (1487). Also early field artillery is being used.

IIRC at Barnet (1471) Warwick had a artillery train and mercenaries from France but is there any evidence of pikes or hand gunners being used in the mid WOTR (Barnet and Tewkesbury)?

Thanks

Hand guns were also used at Towton. They found some bits from two and think they exploded due to tempriture change, between being frozen and the guns being fired.

Warwick had handguns & artillery at 2nd St. Albans. He is believed to have had them at Barnet. Edward the 4th had 300 handgunners at Barnet, & one could then assume Tewkesbury.

However, I don't think the artillery train of Warwick was ever deployed.
