20% of the world is Chinese and 20% Indian … this conflict could take some time ! Very nice models and board. |

Appears the Chinese and Indians are playing out your scenario, for real, as well: link

The Saggers, in your 73 scenario, seem to be very accurate, they were normally fired in volleys at one target, to improve their a hit rate, and had great trouble hitting moving armour, unless approaching directly from the front. |

Thanks for the comments. When do you think your rules will be out? The introductory rules are available now. The full version is scheduled for spring 2015. this conflict could take some time ! We assume a limited war like the previous clashes. If it got out of hand things could get very nasty. Appears the Chinese and Indians are playing out your scenario, for real, as well Good to see we're attracting some interest! Play nicely boys. The Saggers, in your 73 scenario, seem to be very accurate The volley firing often resulted in multiple hits and seems to have been overkill; the rules do allow for multiple firing at one target with an increased chance of a hit. In the game the Saggers fired at optimum range and the side shots made them more difficult to avoid. If the Israelis had been able to close the range the accuracy would have been reduced. Overall we reckon the effect was right; the Israelis struggled until they were able to call in support, something that was lacking in many of the initial counter-attacks in the YKW. The full rules will include an accuracy adjustment for 1st generation ATGMs as well as pluses for very modern weapons. |
